Computer and Information Systems Manager

Apply technology management expertise to help improve next-generation AI systems through real-world project leadership insights, feedback, and evaluations. This remote contract opportunity centers on planning and delivering focused technology initiatives, overseeing external vendors, and communicating progress across diverse stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed project plans covering timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate external vendors and ensure deliverables meet established service-level agreements.
• Guide project participants, support collaboration, and resolve conflicts to maintain project momentum.
• Track progress, identify risks early, and support timely decisions.
• Provide concise written and verbal updates on status, risks, and outcomes for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Maintain quality standards throughout the project and keep work aligned with scope and constraints.
• Contribute practical feedback that helps improve AI models trained on technology management scenarios.

• 6+ years of full-cycle leadership experience on multi-quarter technology initiatives, including planning, vendor coordination, and delivery of results.
• Demonstrated team management, cross-functional leadership, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills in complex projects.
• Successful vendor management and negotiation experience, particularly with external technology providers.
• Experience establishing, monitoring, and enforcing service-level agreements and reporting on vendor performance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex updates for varied audiences.
• Experience producing clear project documentation and executive-level reports.
• Experience contributing to or leading work in which insights informed process improvements or technology-adoption decisions.
• No prior AI experience is required.

• Remote, independent contractor engagement.

• $70 to $130 per hour.
