Computer and Information Systems Manager

Role Overview

Lead focused technology initiatives that help improve next-generation AI systems through high-quality, real-world technology management expertise. You will plan and execute projects, oversee external vendors, coordinate project participants, and communicate outcomes to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate external vendors and ensure deliverables meet established service-level agreements.
• Guide project participants, support collaboration, and resolve conflicts to keep initiatives on track.
• Monitor progress, identify risks early, and facilitate timely decision-making.
• Prepare concise written and verbal updates on project status, risks, and outcomes for stakeholders.
• Maintain quality standards throughout the project and ensure objectives are achieved within scope and constraints.
• Contribute practical insights and feedback that support ongoing improvement of AI models trained on technology management scenarios.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience leading multi-quarter technology initiatives with end-to-end ownership, including planning, vendor coordination, and results delivery.
• Demonstrated team management, cross-functional leadership, and conflict-resolution experience in complex projects.
• Successful vendor management and negotiation experience, particularly with external technology providers.
• Experience establishing, monitoring, and enforcing service-level agreements, including vendor performance reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex updates for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience creating clear project documentation and executive-level reports.
• Experience contributing to or leading projects that informed process improvements or technology adoption decisions.

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement.

Compensation

• $70 to $130 per hour.
