Present information at job fairs, hiring events, community meetings, transition events, and other outreach activities to promote veteran workforce services.Perform data entry and retrieval activities for various programs as necessary. Maintain accurate documentation, case notes, and service records in NEworks and follow agency policies, procedures, JVSG guidance, and required program guidelines.Participate in advisory boards, committees, community organizations, and workforce-related activities that support services to veterans.Location: Omaha Job Center, 5752 Ames Avenue, Omaha, NE (On-Site)Work Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Monday – FridayRequirements / Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications: Post high school coursework or training in social/behavioral sciences, counseling, business, public administration, education, marketing, or a related field; or experience in client development and case management including interviewing, research, and direct customer service.Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, behavioral science, business administration, communication, education, marketing, or a related field. Experience with outreach, recruiting, community/employer engagement, working with individuals facing employment barriers; NEworks or other case management systems.Other: MUST BE A VETERAN OF MILITARY SERVICE (per 38 U.S.C. 4103A and 4104 federal requirements). Preference will be given in this order: 1) Qualified service-connected disabled Veteran; 2) Qualified eligible veteran. To verify veteran status, the DD214 and other necessary paperwork needs to be submitted with the application.Must have a valid driver's license or the ability to provide independent authorized transportation.
