Position Overview

We are seeking a builder—a hands-on, "roll-up-your-sleeves" Senior Accounting Manager who genuinely understands how operations work on the ground. This role is ideal for a grounded leader with deep operational expertise in property accounting, fixed assets, and lease accounting who is ready to partner across teams to build scalable processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Property & Fixed Asset Leadership: Oversee end-to-end property accounting operations, managing continuous capital project accounting, fixed asset life cycles, A360 tracking, and retirement accounting.
• Lease Accounting (ASC 842): Manage complex lease portfolios in compliance with ASC 842 , ensuring accurate accounting treatment, balance sheet schedules, and disclosures.
• Operational Accounting & Process Building: Analyze daily business operations from an accounting perspective, designing, implementing, and refining scalable workflows and controls.
• Team Management & Development: Lead, mentor, and direct a 4-person team—including a Lead Accounting Analyst, a Lead Fixed Asset Analyst, and 2 India-based offshore support team members.
• Project Accounting: Partner closely with operational teams to track capital investments, monitor budgets vs. actuals, and handle project closeouts.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the bridge between general ledger accounting, field/plant operations, and corporate technical accounting.
• Team Leadership: Direct leadership of 4 team members (Lead Accounting Analyst, Lead Fixed Asset Analyst, and 2 offshore support specialists)

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
• Experience: Five (5) or more years of progressive, related accounting experience, with a strong foundation in property accounting, PP&E, A360 fixed assets, retirement accounting, and ASC 842 leases.
• Credentials: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification (Preferred)
• Operational Mindset: Proven ability to understand how things work operationally and a "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude toward building processes.
• Leadership: Experience managing direct reports and coordinating with offshore/international support teams.
• Technical Research: Strong capability to research complex accounting theory and apply guidance in areas where the company has little to no historical precedent.
