Are you an experienced accounting professional who enjoys leading a team, analyzing financial performance, and playing a key role in the success of a business?We’re seeking for a Junior Accounting Manager to oversee the dealership’s accounting, financial, administrative, and office operations. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is organized, analytical, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership of financial operations.Job Responsibilities:Oversee preparation of monthly financial statements by the 5th of the monthWorks with upper management to make hiring and discipline decisions for accounting staffReports regularly to and works effectively with HAGOversees preparation of payroll and payroll recordsProvides General Manager and other managers with necessary financial information, including Daily Operating ReportEnsures that necessary controls are in place to safeguard dealership assetsTrains, supervises, and assists office staffOversees additions and modifications to inventoryAssists in Human Resource complianceAttends weekly manager meetingsPrepares daily cash sheetAssists in preparation of annual budgetEnsures that annual external audit requirements are metMaintains effective employee relationsMaintains CSI at or above company standardsMaintains an organized, clean and safe work areaParticipates in required trainingFollows Safeguards rules and regulations.Demonstrates the Company’s Core ValuesComplies with Company policies and proceduresObserves all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred; equivalent accounting experience may be considered.5+ years of accounting or related financial experience.Previous management or supervisory experience preferred.Experience in an automotive dealership environment preferred.Working knowledge of dealership documents, accounting processes, and applicable automotive industry regulations.Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.Additional Requirements:Valid driver’s license required.Regular and predictable attendance is required.Schedule may include occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.Position is primarily office-based and requires regular use of a computer, communication with employees and leadership.This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties and responsibilities to be performed by this employee.
