Reporting Relationship: Reports to the Senior Director, Corporate Controller.Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for shop, franchise, and supply chain accounting.Oversee the preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.Review financial results, analyze significant variances, and communicate key business drivers to leadership.Support quarterly and annual SEC reporting requirements related to assigned accounting areas.Provide strategic oversight of accounting for company-owned shops, including revenue, store operating expenses, labor-related accruals, lease and occupancy accounting, and other store-level accounting transactions.Lead franchise accounting activities, including royalty revenue, franchise fees, advertising/brand fund accounting, franchise receivables, and compliance with franchise agreements.Oversee supply chain accounting, including inventory, manufacturing, distribution, inventory reserves, and cost accounting activities.Support broader accounting teams for new shop openings, remodels, store closures, acquisitions, and franchise development activities.Own SOX controls and governance activities related to shop, franchise, and supply chain accounting.Maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting and ensure timely completion of balance sheet reconciliations.THE BACKGROUND THAT FITSBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.CPA required.8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and/or public company experience.Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, consolidations, intercompany accounting, and equity method accounting.Experience leading technical accounting analyses and working with external auditors.Excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and project managementReference: 69881
