Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification, or eligibility for certification
• Experience working with students with varying disabilities and learning needs
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborative approach to working with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Adaptability and a solutions-oriented mindset

Responsibilities:

• Create individualized lesson plans and modify curriculum to meet student needs
• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals
• Assess student progress, track data, and adjust instruction as needed
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student independence
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student growth
• Communicate progress and strategies effectively with families and stakeholders
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
