Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Control and Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in PLC programming, HMI/SCADA, commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and plant automation. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley control systems in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support installation, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting of control and automation systems.
- Design and develop Control System Architecture, electrical/control panels, schematics, and BOMs.
- Develop and modify PLC programs and support HMI programming.
- Develop and maintain SCADA systems based on plant requirements.
- Integrate new equipment and automation systems into existing plant systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical circuits and existing control systems.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and P&IDs.
- Support safety validation, IQ/OQ, and equipment installation activities.
- Prepare engineering documents including cable schedules, device/tag lists, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and engineering teams during equipment installation.
- Support operations teams and identify opportunities to reduce production losses.
- Ensure projects follow applicable NEC, NFPA 79, OSHA, S88, and PackML standards.
