FOH Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Restaurant Manager to lead our dynamic hospitality team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain a high standard of food quality and safety. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating team members to ensure top-tier service delivery.
• Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards, food safety regulations, and proper handling procedures.
• Manage daily operations including shift management, inventory control, cash handling, and POS system utilization such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by implementing rigorous food safety management practices and maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff on food production, culinary standards, catering events, banquet services, and special promotions.
• Foster a positive team environment through ongoing training & development initiatives, staff motivation, and effective communication.

Requirements

• Proven management experience in full service dining establishments using POS systems such as Toast, Micros, Aloha and reservation systems such as Opentable or Resy required
• Strong supervisory skills with a background in supervising hospitality teams and managing restaurant operations.
• Familiarity with inventory control, food safety management (including HACCP standards), and managing hospitality teams across various service formats like casual dining or hotel restaurants.
• Excellent leadership abilities paired with superb customer service skills; experience in managing catering or banquet services is a plus.
• Ability to analyze profit & loss statements, develop budgets, and implement effective cost control strategies.
• Prior experience in culinary or hospitality management roles such as assistant manager or restaurant supervisor is highly desirable.
