Senior Accountant
Location: West Hollywood, CA (Hybrid)

Hourly Pay Rate: $40.00-$45.00 hourly

Our client, a dynamic entertainment company based in West Hollywood, is seeking a Senior Accountant with heavy consolidations experience to support complex financial reporting and close activities across multiple entities. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the monthly close, financial consolidation, and reporting processes. This role requires strong technical accounting skills, hands-on consolidations experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment typical of the entertainment industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including multi-entity consolidations
• Perform eliminations, intercompany reconciliations, and ownership adjustments
• Support the monthly close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Assist with technical accounting matters and ensure compliance with US GAAP
• Collaborate with FP&A, tax, and external auditors during audits and reporting cycles
• Maintain and improve accounting processes, controls, and documentation
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Heavy hands-on experience with multi-entity consolidations
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Experience working in a complex, multi-company environment
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or CPA-track
• Prior experience in entertainment, media, or a similarly fast-paced industry
• Experience with ERP systems and consolidation tools

Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
