Production Supervisor

Location Merchantville, NJ Salary $75,000.00 USD Annually - $80,000.00 USD Annually Description Our client is currently seeking a 1st Shift Production Supervisor in NJ. The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations during an assigned shift in a high-volume food production environment. This individual oversees production personnel, coordinates staffing and materials, ensures compliance with quality and food safety standards, and drives operational efficiency. Responsibilities Direct and coordinate daily production activities across multiple manufacturing lines to ensure efficient, uninterrupted operations. Ensure production equipment and lines are prepared and operational at shift start. Execute production schedules while meeting established quality, yield, and productivity targets. Assign personnel to production areas based on business needs and operational priorities. Coordinate staffing adjustments to address attendance, scheduling, and production requirements. Provide coaching, direction, and performance feedback to hourly team members. Conduct employee training focused on safety, quality, food safety, and standard operating procedures. Qualifications 2+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, food processing, or consumer packaged goods environment. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop production teams in a fast-paced setting. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, workplace safety, and quality systems. #J-18808-Ljbffr
