Description:
The Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will work night shifts, following a 3x12 schedule.
This position involves managing a critical care environment with patient ratios of 1:1-2.
Candidates are required to have EPIC experience and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
Skills necessary for this role include proficiency in IV starts and experience with telemetry.
The nurse will also be responsible for the management of ventilators and certain critical care procedures.
Previous travel nursing experience and proficiency in the EPIC documentation system are preferred.
Candidates must be prepared to float to different units as needed.
The unit caters to adult patients with various diagnoses, including but not limited to cardiogenic shock, heart failure, and post-interventional cardiac procedure patients.
The nursing role will involve interdisciplinary support, including collaboration with respiratory services and pharmacy.
