As we scale across multiple Texas facilities, we’re looking for a Safety Coordinator who owns safety for all of our locations—keeping our people protected, our sites compliant, and our culture grounded in respect and accountability. This is a hands‑on specialist role at a fast‑moving startup. You’ll be the company’s go‑to safety expert across all sites, and you’ll partner closely to support our physical security program as we grow. Position Summary The Safety Coordinator is the company‑wide owner of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) across all LiquidStack locations—our two Carrollton facilities and our upcoming Fort Worth site—as well as field‑service operations. You will develop, implement, and monitor safety programs that prevent injuries, ensure OSHA and regulatory compliance, and build a proactive safety culture across the organization. This role combines hands‑on floor presence with program ownership. You’ll conduct inspections and training, investigate incidents, maintain records and metrics, and serve as a key support to the company’s physical security program, ensuring our people, visitors, and assets are protected at every location. What You’ll Own Company‑Wide Safety Program (All Locations) Own the LiquidStack safety program end‑to‑end across all sites—both Carrollton facilities, the new Fort Worth location, and field‑service operations. Own and lead the company’s safety walks, safety audits, and safety inspections, driving findings to closure. Own and chair the company’s safety team (safety committee), setting the agenda and leading regular meetings. Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and programs aligned to OSHA and federal, state, and local regulations. Standardize safety practices across sites so every location operates to the same high bar as we scale. Maintain SDS/chemical‑hazard documentation and manage PPE selection, acquisition, and enforcement. Lead regular safety walks and safety audits across all sites to identify hazards and drive corrective action. Perform risk assessments and job hazard analyses (JHA) for assembly, electromechanical, and fluid‑based work. Ensure compliance with OSHA (29 CFR 1910 General Industry) and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations; prepare and submit required reporting and recordkeeping (OSHA 300/300A logs). Manage core OSHA programs including lockout/tagout (LOTO), hazard communication (HAZCOM), PPE, confined space, fall protection, and ergonomics. Support readiness for ISO 45001 (occupational health & safety) and ISO 9001 quality management system audits. Training & Safety Culture Develop and deliver safety training—new‑hire orientation, toolbox talks, PPE, lockout/tagout, HAZMAT/HAZWOPER, machine and fluid‑handling safety, and emergency response. Drive a behavior‑based safety culture and coach supervisors and team members to recognize hazards and consistently follow safe practices. Build trust across teams while holding everyone accountable for a Safety‑First mindset. Investigate accidents, injuries, and near‑misses; lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Maintain first aid / CPR / AED readiness and coordinate workers’ compensation reporting and return‑to‑work processes. Develop and maintain emergency response, evacuation, and business‑continuity plans across all sites. Security Support & Cross‑Functional Partnership Support the company’s physical security program—access control, visitor management, surveillance awareness, and asset protection across all locations. Coordinate emergency response and evacuation planning that integrates safety and security. Partner with IT on systems and technology that support facility and site safety and security. Partner with Facilities on equipment safety, space readiness, and stand‑up of the new Fort Worth site. Coordinate with external agencies (OSHA, fire, law enforcement, EMS) on inspections, incidents, and emergency response. Track and report safety metrics and leading indicators (incident rates, near‑misses, training completion, corrective‑action closure). Use data and dashboards to target risk and drive measurable improvement. Stay current on regulations, industry best practices, and emerging safety and security technology. How You’ll Work Our Safety Coordinator sets the tone for The LiquidStack Way. You will: Own your actions and decisions—drive results, take initiative, and follow through. Be collaborative and attentive—listen to understand, respect different perspectives, and communicate constructively. Be agile and flexible—adapt quickly and support teams across multiple sites. Lead with integrity and a zero‑tolerance commitment to a safe, respectful, harassment‑free, and violence‑free workplace. Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in safety coordination, EHS, or a similar role, preferably in manufacturing or an industrial environment. Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1910) and applicable federal, state, and local safety standards. OSHA 30‑Hour General Industry certification (or ability to obtain) and experience delivering safety training. Experience conducting safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident/accident investigations with root cause analysis. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present safety information to diverse audiences. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety/incident reporting tools. Ability to work independently and travel between Carrollton and Fort Worth (TX) sites. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related field. Professional certification such as CSP, ASP, CHST, OHST, or CIH. Working knowledge of ISO 45001 (occupational health & safety) and ISO 9001 management systems. Experience with EHS management software (e.g., Intelex, Gensuite/Benchmark, Cority, VelocityEHS, or similar). Experience supporting physical security programs (access control, surveillance, visitor management). Experience in data center infrastructure, thermal systems, HVAC, electromechanical, or fluid‑based manufacturing. Bilingual (English/Spanish) – a plus for training and engaging a diverse production workforce. Experience in a high‑growth or multi‑site scaling organization. Systems & Tools Safety / incident reporting and EHS management tools Smartsheet and resource management tools Microsoft Office Suite Working Conditions Manufacturing floor environment supporting assembly and field‑service prep of advanced cooling systems. Frequent interaction with mechanical, electrical, and fluid‑based components. Regular travel between Carrollton and Fort Worth (TX) facilities to cover all locations.
