Physician Assistant – First Assist (Cardiology and Vascular Surgery)

Location: Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center – Fort Worth, TX (On-site, Monday – Friday Schedule)

About the Role: Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant – First Assist to join our Vascular Surgery Specialists team in Fort Worth. This is a full-time position supporting advanced heart and vascular care, with a primary focus on assisting in the OR, including vein harvesting and other surgical procedures.

The ideal candidate must have prior operating room experience, preferably with vein harvesting, and a strong interest in cardiology and vascular surgery. You will play a vital role in delivering minimally invasive treatments and surgical therapies in a high-volume, collaborative, and patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• First assist in vascular and cardiology surgeries
• Perform vein harvesting procedures
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care
• Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and clinical teams to ensure optimal outcomes
• Support inpatient and outpatient care, patient education, and follow-up
• Participate in clinical rounds and documentation

Qualifications - Education - Grad of an Accredited Program - Experience - More than 1 year of experience in vein harvesting. - Certification/License/Registration - Physician Assistants (PA) Basic Life Support (BLS): Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer.
