Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - St. Tammany.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Unit Details: - Medicine patient population.

Shift & Scheduling: - Night shifts may be scheduled as 4x12-Hour or 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15).

Floating Requirements: - Floating to other med/surg and telemetry units.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
