TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Leonardtown, Maryland, 20650!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of experience required in IMC/PCU/MS Float Pool License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Candidate must successfully pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms. Minimum of 2 years' experience required. Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment. Description: The ideal candidate will float between IMC and medical units. Duties include caring for IMC level patients, medicine/IMC level boarders as needed. IMC has a 1:4 patient ratio, while MedSurg/Telemetry has a 1:5-6 ratio. The facility requires that all employees have the flu vaccine. Scrubs are not provided; the color required is Caribbean Blue. Candidates must have experience in telemetry and dysrhythmias management. Additional skills include managing ports, blood product administration, and oxygen administration. Experience with cardiac telemetry and managing dysrhythmias is essential. Candidates will be responsible for interpreting and managing arterial blood gases and thrombolytic agents. The role may require compliance with isolation precautions and using rapid response/code teams as needed. Wound care and managing surgical drains are also part of the responsibilities. Candidates should be prepared for weekend and holiday coverage as determined by hospital needs. Travel experience is required, along with supervisory references supporting the required experience.
