Build and lead Good Attic’s Denver market

Good Attic helps homeowners solve attic problems affecting comfort, air quality, pest damage, and energy efficiency. We provide attic insulation, insulation removal, pest remediation, air sealing, and ventilation solutions through clear recommendations, careful workmanship, and a customer experience built on trust.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial General Manager / Market Leader to lead and grow our Denver operation. This is a hands-on, owner-operator role with responsibility for the market’s P&L, people, sales, field operations, customer experience, and local reputation.

You will have the authority to make local decisions, the accountability of a clear operating scorecard, and support from our family-run team. This is an opportunity to help build a durable local location with us—not simply manage a department.

What you’ll own

• Own the Denver market P&L, including revenue, gross margin, labor productivity, operating expenses, collections, and profitability.
• Develop the local operating plan, forecasts, staffing model, and weekly priorities needed to achieve company goals.
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and retain a high-performing team across sales, project management, field operations, and customer service.
• Lead the customer journey from initial inquiry and attic assessment through estimating, scheduling, installation, final verification, and review generation.
• Improve lead response, appointment capacity, close rate, average project value, and follow-up discipline while maintaining an honest, educational sales experience.
• Manage scheduling, crew capacity, job readiness, inventory, equipment, fleet, vendors, and field productivity.
• Protect the Good Attic standard through accurate scopes, photo documentation, careful containment, clean jobsites, final walkthroughs, and prompt resolution of customer concerns.
• Establish a consistent management rhythm, including daily huddles, weekly scorecards, pipeline reviews, production meetings, one-on-ones, and financial reviews.
• Maintain high standards for safety, PPE, training, permitting, regulatory compliance, and the responsible handling of attic contaminants.
• Grow Good Attic’s Denver reputation through homeowner reviews, referrals, local partnerships, and disciplined coordination with marketing.
• Stay close to the work by regularly visiting jobsites, coaching team members in the field, and solving problems at their source.
• Partner with company leadership to improve pricing, services, systems, training, and the broader Good Attic operating model.

How success will be measured

Your scorecard will include:

• Revenue, gross margin, and branch profitability
• Lead response, booking rate, inspection volume, close rate, and average ticket
• Crew utilization, labor efficiency, schedule attainment, and completed projects
• On-time completion, callbacks, rework, and warranty expense
• Customer satisfaction, reviews, referrals, and complaint-resolution time
• Hiring, training, employee retention, and leadership development
• Safety, compliance, and documentation quality
• Forecast accuracy and collections

What we’re looking for

• Two or more years of leadership experience in home services, restoration, insulation, HVAC, roofing, pest control, construction, or a comparable field-service business
• Demonstrated responsibility for a branch, business unit, or meaningful P&L
• Experience leading both sales and field operations
• A record of recruiting strong people, coaching performance, and building an accountable culture
• Strong command of operating metrics, budgets, forecasts, capacity planning, and process improvement
• Excellent customer judgment and the ability to resolve difficult situations calmly and fairly
• A hands-on, low-ego leadership style—equally comfortable reviewing financials, coaching a sales conversation, and visiting a jobsite
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Comfort using CRM, scheduling, field-service, and reporting systems
• A valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the Denver metro area
• Comfort visiting residential jobsites and entering attic spaces when needed, using company-provided PPE and with reasonable accommodation

A college degree is not required. Relevant operating experience, leadership ability, judgment, and measurable results matter more to us than credentials.

Helpful, but not required

• Experience launching a new market, scaling a branch, or leading a turnaround
• Knowledge of insulation, building science, air sealing, ventilation, or pest-related restoration
• BPI, OSHA, restoration, insulation, or related training
• Spanish-language proficiency
