Akkodis is seeking a Design Quality Engineer for a contract job in Raynham, Massachusetts (Hybrid) , United States.
Pay Range: $51/hr - $53/hr on W2
(The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job Summary
The Design Quality Engineer is part of the Lifecycle Management organization responsible for maintaining products across sports medicine and soft tissue repair. The role works closely with Product Design, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, and cross-functional teams to:
- Support design and process changes
- Perform risk management activities
- Execute product testing
- Ensure compliance with Design Controls
- Support quality system activities including CAPA, nonconforming materials, and medical device regulations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Technical or Scientific discipline
- 5+ years of experience in the Medical Device industry
- Experience conducting Process Verifications / Validations
- Experience with DFMEA and/or PFMEA
- New Product Development (NPD) experience
- Design Quality Engineering experience
- Experience in Design Control
- Experience leading projects and managing multiple priorities
- Blueprint reading and inspection experience, including GD&T
- Experience with Design Excellence, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies
