Rad Tech / X-Ray Tech - Full Time

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist for a permanent role with an area healthcare client where you'll be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification required.
• State radiologic technologist license required. Limited licenses not accepted. Compact license accepted where applicable.
• Maintain required state licenses, ARRT certification, and any health or operational requirements.
• Valid driver's license in the applicable state and in good standing.
• COVID-19 vaccination required, or documented approved exemption.
• BLS certification.
• Experience performing portable (mobile) radiography preferred. Experience with digital (DR) and/or computed (CR) radiography equipment required.
• Ability to perform and transmit studies (X-ray and, if applicable, EKG) to offsite physicians or specialists.
• Ability to safely load, unload, push, and pull portable imaging equipment. Ability to exert up to 50-100 lbs of force intermittently during the shift.
• Minimum 1 year of radiologic technologist experience preferred.

Role Summary and Responsibilities:

• Provide mobile X-ray services to nursing homes and other healthcare facilities in the Charlotte, NC area.
• Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submit images to a radiologist for interpretation.
• Perform EKGs when required and transmit to a cardiologist for interpretation.
• Unload and transport portable X-ray equipment into facilities and obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent images.
• Scan and submit exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol.
• Maintain communication with dispatch and management. Interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
• Maintain vehicle and imaging equipment in safe working condition.

Shift and Scheduling:

• Flex shifts. Weekend shifts required.
• Possible shift patterns include: Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm; Monday-Friday 6:00pm-2:30am; 10:00am-6:30pm Monday-Thursday; Saturday-Monday 9:00am-9:30pm; Sunday-Tuesday 9:00am-9:30pm.
