General Manager/Hotel ManagerClarus Hotels is seeking an outgoing and energetic individual as General Manager to manage a Home2 Suites located in the Westchase District. Our beautiful Home2 Suites has 120 rooms and suites with a terrific location in a growing market. We have additional properties in the pipeline and would like to see this individual grow into bigger roles in the future.The ideal candidate will possess strong managerial skills, multilingual abilities, and extensive experience in hospitality management to ensure our hotel delivers exceptional experiences while achieving operational goals. As the face of the property, you will inspire your team, uphold high standards of service, and implement innovative strategies to elevate guest satisfaction and revenue growth.Responsible for all aspects of the hotel and to operate to the requirements of the brandEssential Functions:Sales and profits maximized through direct management of cost controls and revenue managementMeet and exceed standards for guest satisfaction scores as well as quality assurance inspectionsOversees both hourly and salary employees and delegates authority accordinglyAssigns duties to staff and observes performance to ensure adherence to hotel policies and established operating proceduresComplies with all brand standardsHas open door policy and effective communication with executive managers and team membersInterview and train all team members.Coach/counsel, and discipline all team membersDaily room inspectionsReviews employee performance and conducts personnel actions such as disciplinary actions and terminationsCommunicates with cluster properties and helps when neededKnows hotel's emergency proceduresCarries out any reasonable request made by management that you are capable of performingRepresents Clarus Hotels Inc in a professional manner at all timesComplies with all Clarus Hotels Inc policies and proceduresRequirements:Proven managerial experience in hospitality or hotel management roles with a track record of overseeing daily operations successfully.Extensive supervisory experience leading diverse hospitality teams in a fast-paced environment.Proven success in guest service resultsStrong financial knowledge, with experience managing supply and labor costs to budgetAction Oriented to work efficiently and effectively toward property revenue and operational objectivesTime Management skills to meet commitments across multiple departments and rolesGuest Focus to consistently deliver optimal employee and customer satisfaction for the hotelWillingness to learn all aspects of the hospitality industryExcellent written and oral communication skillsValid driver's licenseJoin us as a Hotel General Manager where your leadership will shape memorable guest experiences while driving operational excellence!Benefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insurance401k with generous company matchPTOWork Location: In person
