Investigator

Under the supervision of the Executive Director of Investigations, the Investigator will be responsible for conducting truck inspections and enforcing all applicable BIC regulations governing the trade waste industry. This position is heavily focused on street enforcement and requires extensive fieldwork, including stopping commercial vehicles, conducting inspections, examining documentation, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. In this role the Investigator will also handle various investigations including but not limited to theft and customer complaints. The Investigator will be responsible for generating various reports on all investigations and documenting any vehicle inspection in a Salesforce database. Requirements A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and at least two years of satisfactory, full-time investigative experience evaluating creditworthiness, searching for assets, verifying education, experience, and other personal qualifications; or An associate degree or 60 semester credits from an accredited college; or Education and/or experience equivalent to the above. Undergraduate college credit can be substituted for experience on the basis of 30 semester credits, from an accredited college, for one year of full-time experience.
