VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT Equipment Operator II Concrete Crew Starting Salary: $39,879 Join our team as a lead Equipment Operator II for the Concrete Crew. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the Citys Right of Ways, operating a variety of equipment, and assisting in the pouring and finishing of concrete sidewalks and driveways. Key Responsibilities: Operate Backhoes, Loaders, Dump Trucks, and other equipment Lead a group of laborers in maintenance tasks Assist in concrete pouring and finishing Supervise and train subordinate employees Maintain accurate records of work performed Perform snow removal and work overtime during special events or weather conditions Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive working relationships Qualifications: High school diploma or GED 3 to 5 years of experience in concrete work or public works maintenance and repair Possession of a commercial drivers license Flagging certificate from the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Transportation Successful completion of criminal background and driving record checks Join us in maintaining our citys infrastructure with pride and professionalism!
