Operating Room Surgical Technologist Position Summary
Main OR Operating Room Surgical Tech position available
Schedule

• 12-hour shifts
• Day/Evening/Night rotating shift schedules
• Can also accommodate 48 hours per week

Job Duties

• The OR cares for a wide variety of patients
• Specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, orthopedic, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma (level 1 trauma center)
• There are 2 Davinci robots that are used by multi-services
• The transplant program involves livers, kidneys, and hearts

Job Requirements

• NBSTSA Certification or 10 years of experience as a Surgical Technician
• Minimum Two (2) years of Experience
• Operating room experience in a level 1 trauma preferred
• Able to scrub

Certification(s)

• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)

Skills

• NBSTSA Tech License (NY License ONLY) or 10 years of experience - Required
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) - Required
• Two (2) Years Experience - minimum - Required
• Operating room experience in a level 1 trauma - Highly desired
• Able to scrub - Required
