Marketing Assistant

Job Description POSITION SUMMARY The Marketing Assistant is primarily responsible for, under direct supervision, for assisting, creating and developing marketing strategies and campaigns. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Manage scope, timeline, budget and execution from start to finish for assigned marketing projects. Manage expectations for all stakeholders on assigned marketing projects. Work closely with the Marketing Department to brainstorm content. Develop, write, and edit engaging marketing content including, social media updates, newsletters, brochures, emails, and website copy. Create visually appealing graphics and marketing materials. Set up and maintain project tasks. Help plan, organize and promote company events. Field questions and concerns and quickly problem solve. Performing other duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES) High school diploma or GED equivalent, must also be 18 years or older. One-year total experience in Mortgage lending or related field preferred. One-year total experience in Marketing or related field preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook 365) Competency with using generative AI tools for content creation (ChatGPT, MS Co-Pilot) Familiarity with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) Proficient knowledge with social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) Sound judgment, ability to think critically, including the ability to evaluate facts and data to draw conclusions, determine the downstream impact of decisions and associated risks. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment; strong sense of urgency and responsiveness. Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Strong detail orientation and highly organized. Demonstrate patience and professionalism when interacting with both internal and external customers. Ethical, with a commitment to company values.
