Technician II

Job Title: Technician II (Tech II) Job Schedule Monday – Thursday: 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM Occasional mandatory overtime on Fridays Position Summary The Technician II is responsible for performing repair, assembly, troubleshooting, and production-related tasks in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and the ability to work with small electronic and mechanical components while following established procedures and work instructions. Key Responsibilities Follow established procedures to repair and restore products to their original operating condition. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with various product components. Use hand tools and equipment to perform assembly, disassembly, repair, and production tasks. Perform technical aspects of repair, production, and inventory restocking processes. Complete all required documentation to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards. Inspect products and components to ensure quality requirements are met. Maintain productivity and accuracy while meeting daily production targets. Work collaboratively with team members to support manufacturing operations. Required Qualifications and Skills Ability to identify small electronic components and distinguish them by markings. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written work instructions accurately. Ability to assemble and disassemble small mechanical or electronic devices using hand tools. Good problem-solving skills and sound judgment. Positive attitude, strong initiative, and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision. Basic computer proficiency. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and accurately transcribe data. Strong English reading and writing skills. Ability to visually inspect products, identify defects or foreign matter, and distinguish between colors as required by quality standards. Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED required. Previous experience in mechanical or electrical repair within a manufacturing environment preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods throughout the workday. Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds from floor to shoulder level. Ability to lift up to 2 pounds from shoulder level to overhead. Ability to push and pull with moderate force as required. Capability to manipulate small parts and components with both hands. Work Environment Temperature and humidity-controlled manufacturing environment. FDA-regulated workplace with strict quality and safety requirements. Required use of protective equipment, including static-protective garments and grounding devices. Work performed in close proximity to other employees. Compliance with all manufacturing, safety, quality, and regulatory procedures is required at all times.
