JOB SUMMARY

The House Attendant is responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms and suites to the exacting standards of a LionGrove-managed property, creating a fresh, welcoming, and immaculate environment for every arriving and in-house guest. Working throughout the guest room areas, this role restores each room to a like-new condition, replenishes amenities, and reports maintenance needs so that guests enjoy a seamless and comfortable stay. The House Attendant contributes directly to guest satisfaction, cleanliness scores, and the property's reputation for luxury hospitality in its market. Working closely with the Housekeeping team, this position ensures rooms are turned efficiently and accurately to support daily occupancy and the overall guest experience.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Required Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Language requirements are confirmed by property at the time of posting.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, based on occupancy.
• Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel, resort, or hospitality setting.
• Bilingual ability appropriate to the property's guests.
• Familiarity with housekeeping or property management systems.

FUNDAMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, suites, and bathrooms to brand and resort standards, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all surfaces.
• Make beds with fresh linens and arrange each room according to established standards.
• Replenish guest amenities, toiletries, linens, and supplies.
• Remove trash and soiled linens and transport them to designated areas.
• Inspect rooms for maintenance needs and report deficiencies promptly to Engineering through the proper channel.
• Respond to guest requests for additional items or service courteously and promptly.
• Report lost and found items in accordance with resort policy.
• Maintain and secure the housekeeping cart, equipment, and supplies.
• Follow all safety procedures for the handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
• Protect guest privacy and maintain the security of guest rooms and keys.
• Meet daily productivity and quality standards for assigned rooms.
• Communicate room status accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support turndown service and special room setups as assigned.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Stand and walk for the majority of an eight hour shift.
• Push and maneuver a housekeeping cart weighing up to 100 pounds on level and inclined surfaces.
• Lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally, including linens and supplies.
• Frequently bend, kneel, reach, twist, and stoop to clean bathrooms, floors, and furniture.
• Perform repetitive hand and arm motions for scrubbing, wiping, dusting, and making beds.
• Work with cleaning chemicals and use personal protective equipment as required.
• Move between guest rooms and buildings, with exposure to outdoor heat and sun consistent with the property's climate.
