SEO Lead

For our client, we are seeking a SEO Lead to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will drive search and content‑led growth initiatives that improve visibility, acquisition, and measurable demand. You will collaborate with analytics, product, creative, and commercial teams to turn market insights into scalable campaigns, testing strategies, and performance improvements. The position offers the opportunity to directly influence customer engagement, conversion performance, and revenue growth within a Pharmaceuticals & Biotech environment. Location: New York City, NY – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available. Compensation: $255,000 – $320,000 annually. Responsibilities Own and execute the technical SEO strategy across all the company web properties Implement and maintain essential SEO frameworks like structured data and redirect strategies Optimize site performance and monitor search metrics to enhance visibility Develop and maintain an SEO playbook for international expansion and localized content Build content roadmaps to improve organic discovery of core products Qualifications 5+ years of technical SEO experience, preferably in a developer tools or SaaS environment Deep understanding of JavaScript-heavy sites and static site generators Expertise in handling complex SEO challenges like site migrations, canonicalization, and duplicate content Strong grasp of status codes and web infrastructure elements Proficiency in relevant SEO tools (e.g., Screaming Frog, Ahrefs) and Google Search Console Benefits Competitive compensation and benefits package Optional equity donation matching Generous vacation and parental leave Flexible working hours Collaborative office environment Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
