Restaurant Manager

About the Role Revel & Rye at Marriott Marquis is looking for a Restaurant Manager to oversee operations of our Broadway Lounge and dining areas in Times Square, New York. The manager will collaborate with leadership teams to set standards, inspire the team, and ensure guests receive an exceptional dining experience. Key Responsibilities Cultivate a culture of enlightened hospitality and operational excellence. Maintain excellence and cleanliness of the dining room, ensuring physical inventory is available and staff is acquainted with CGS protocols. Build positive relationships with kitchen leaders and line staff, ensuring effective communication throughout service periods. Provide ongoing support to service staff and participate in the service cycle as needed. Work with beverage management to conduct, reconcile, and submit month‑end beverage inventories. Keep HR practices and policies current, holding employees accountable and following disciplinary procedures when necessary. Ensure payroll processes are completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with business/accounting procedures. Ensure compliance with DOL and Health Department regulations. Deliver feedback and guidance with a focus on hospitality, and support team members' growth and development. Identify internal and external opportunities to expand our team. Perform additional responsibilities as needed and other duties assigned to support team objectives. Qualifications 2+ years of dining room experience in fine dining, with preference for management experience. 1+ year working in a high‑volume restaurant is required. Experience working in Midtown Manhattan is preferred. Excellent food and beverage knowledge. Strong passion for education and training. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.). Preferred Bachelor’s degree or certification in hospitality‑related field, or equivalent experience. English fluency; Spanish language skills are preferred.
