This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while maintaining direct communication with colleagues and clients via virtual platforms. Standard work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, aligning well with a balanced work-life schedule.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of new clients to develop individualized treatment plans that address their specific mental health needs.

• Utilize a range of therapeutic techniques in individual, couples, and family therapy settings, adapting to the unique dynamics of each interaction.

• Guide clients in establishing actionable mental health goals and support them in their pursuit of these objectives through consistent follow-up and motivation.

• Keep meticulous and confidential records of client progress and sessions, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal guidelines.

• Participate in regular supervision and team meetings to stay informed about the latest best practices and contribute to the collective knowledge of the team.

• Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, or a related discipline.

• Active LCMHC licensure in the state of Vermont.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience with a proven track record of working with a diverse client base.

• Strong foundation in evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients effectively.

• A demonstrated capacity for independent work, balanced with a collaborative team dynamic.

• Experience in telehealth counseling is highly preferred, with familiarity in using digital platforms for client interaction.

• Expertise in working with specific populations such as children, adolescents, or individuals with substance abuse issues is a plus.

• Knowledge of local mental health resources and community support services in Vermont.
