Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Bring your expertise in school-based occupational therapy to an energetic elementary environment, where you'll play a meaningful role in students’ growth and learning. We’re seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to serve a dynamic elementary student caseload within a supportive and collaborative setting.

This full-time, contract role begins August 13, 2026 and runs through June 9, 2027, following a Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM. You'll provide onsite services, working directly with students and staff to support student success and foster independence in daily activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and valid COTA license in California (active status required)
• Demonstrated school-based COTA experience
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary team members
• Ability to adapt therapeutic interventions to a diverse elementary caseload

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy support in accordance with IEP goals
• Implement evidence-based interventions to address student motor, sensory, and adaptive skill development
• Work closely with teachers, school staff, and other service providers to promote student participation in academic activities
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for each student
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student assessments
