Consultant - Applications Programmer - Enterprise Correspondence Operations

Job Overview Position: Email Campaign & Content Configuration Specialist Location: Onsite, 1st shift (USA), Monday–Friday 8:00AM–5:00PM, 40 hours per week. Responsibilities Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain, and test software applications that enable business units and supporting functions. Participate in design, development, and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. Lead projects and direct activities related to special initiatives or operations, without direct reports; may manage project budgets. Collaborate with external programmers and internal teams to coordinate delivery of software applications. Handle email campaign configuration and support in Salesforce Marketing Cloud: understand business needs, configure campaigns, code HTML, test, deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot. Provide Messagepoint / OpenText Exstream configuration support: design and develop correspondence documents, lead template refinement, manage lifecycle through production implementation. Maintain the Data Dictionary used for the Universal Schema: add new variables/fields, ensure accurate interface to Systems of Record. Use minimal supervision; provide technical guidance to peers and stakeholders. Required Qualifications 5–7 years of experience in software development and support. Prior experience with email campaign configuration in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HTML coding, testing, and production deployment. Ability to understand monitoring data, troubleshoot campaigns, manage high‑volume configuration requests. Experience editing HTML in a text editor, coding tables, understanding nested tables, XML structures. Knowledge of AMPscript or a programming language such as JavaScript, PHP, Java, or Swift. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills; high attention to detail. Positive attitude toward stress and strict adherence to process/workflow. Desired Qualifications Experience in content design with Messagepoint or OpenText Exstream. Excellent collaboration and communication skills in large group settings. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. Ability to work independently and coordinate multi‑assignment delivery.
