Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Nights)

La Porte, Indiana

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | No on-call requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced rural Emergency Department with 23 beds
• Manage a patient ratio of approximately 4–5:1
• Float to an additional Emergency Department every third weekend as needed
• Utilize electronic medical records to document and coordinate patient care
• Apply de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Indiana
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Completed de-escalation training
• Minimum 1–2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Valid driver's license required for submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency or acute care setting
