About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Fund Accounting to lead its fund accounting operations within private markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in financial reporting, as well as driving finance transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and analytics capabilities. This role involves providing expertise in investment structuring, valuation, and cash management strategies, and supporting strategic decision-making with actionable insights on market value fluctuations and investment performance. The VP will also engage with stakeholders to effectively communicate complex financial structures and data, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a CPA preferred, and 7-15 years of relevant experience, including audit or transaction advisory roles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and financial analysis tools is required, along with a strong understanding of deal closing mechanisms and investment structures. Fluency in Portuguese is preferred for regional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal and analytical skills, be adept at managing multiple priorities, and have experience with asset managers or private equity firms. The role demands the ability to work independently and engage confidently with diverse stakeholders, while ensuring adherence to organizational values and principles in all financial operations.
