About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President to lead its fund accounting operations for private equity assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring precision, compliance, and exceptional service delivery in all fund accounting activities. This role involves collaborating with global teams to optimize processes, enhance financial reporting accuracy, and drive strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiency and client satisfaction. The VP will also mentor and manage a team of professionals, ensuring their growth and high performance, and will be a key player in technology-driven projects to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounting processes. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics, with a CPA or CFA preferred, and a minimum of 8 years' experience in private equity fund accounting, including leadership experience. Proficiency in US GAAP, fund accounting platforms, and strong project management skills are essential. The role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills for both client and team interactions, as well as experience in financial statement preparation, general ledger reviews, and a solid understanding of waterfall structures and private equity fund operations. The VP will also be expected to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies, maintaining operational integrity at all times.
