About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Fund Accounting in Private Assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing fund accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and exceptional client satisfaction. This role involves driving strategic initiatives such as technology automation and process optimization to enhance operational efficiency and team productivity. The VP will also be involved in talent acquisition, onboarding, and professional development to build and retain a high-performing team, as well as acting as a liaison with clients, external parties, and internal teams to foster strong professional relationships. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field, with a CPA or equivalent certification preferred. A minimum of 8 years' experience in private equity accounting, including leadership experience, is required. The role demands a strong knowledge of US GAAP, waterfall structures, and financial statement preparation processes, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with FIS Investran PE accounting platform is desirable. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, a proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and achieve strategic organizational goals, and experience in client relationship management and external audit coordination. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in financial operations and reporting are essential.
