About the Role
The Company is in search of an Assistant Vice President for its private infrastructure fund. The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial management, reporting, and operations within a dynamic investment environment. This includes owning the day-to-day fund accounting and reporting, leading the coordination with internal and external auditors, and partnering with cross-functional teams on the preparation and review of SEC filings. The role also involves monitoring and managing fund liquidity, preparing and reviewing accounting policy memoranda, and leading and mentoring junior team members. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with a CPA being preferred, and at least 6 years' of experience in public and/or private accounting. A strong understanding of SEC reporting and complex fund structures is essential. The role requires the ability to manage multiple tasks, contribute to process improvement, and support ad-hoc strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a background that includes exposure to public companies, open-ended funds, or private markets, and be adept at fee and promote calculations, as well as quarterly close deliverables.
