About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining shadow books and records, performing reconciliations, and assisting with the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting deliverables. This role also involves the preparation and review of management and incentive fee calculations, as well as 10-Q and 10-K SEC filings. The Vice President will work closely with the third-party sub-administrator, and other outside vendors, and will be involved in the review of fund expenses, and coordination of accruals and payments. Additionally, the role includes providing support to external auditors during their quarterly reviews and annual audit procedures. Applicants for the Vice President position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with a preference for a CPA. A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in public and private BDC accounting is required, along with strong Excel skills and experience working with large sets of data. The role demands a professional with a keen eye for detail, the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate will be adept at coordinating and reviewing accounting deliverables, and have a solid understanding of the financial industry and regulatory requirements.
