Vice President of Finance About the Company A growing premium consumer brand with a multi-channel business. Industry Retail Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in need of a Vice President of Finance to take on a pivotal role in the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all core accounting and finance activities, including but not limited to, close, reporting, cash management, audit coordination, compliance, AP/AR, payroll oversight, and banking relationships. This senior finance leader will also be tasked with building and improving forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting processes, as well as creating financial models to support business decisions. A key aspect of the role is to partner with executive leadership on business strategy, operational priorities, and resource allocation, and to develop scalable reporting infrastructure and KPIs for the growing omnichannel business. Applicants for this role at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with a background in consumer products, preferably within the specified categories. The role requires a strong accounting foundation, demonstrated FP&A capability, and experience in a high-growth or smaller company where adaptability and resourcefulness are essential. The ideal candidate will have a CPA, and experience in wholesale and direct-to-consumer/ecommerce channels. The company is seeking a finance executive who is equally credible in accounting and strategic finance, and who can bring a hands-on approach to a lean environment while also serving as a strategic advisor to the leadership team.
