Inventory Control Clerk

PSG® is a global pump, metering, and dispensing‑solution expert headquartered in Downers Grove, IL. This position focuses on cycle counting and inventory control for all product lines. Responsibilities Maintain inventory cycle count and physical inventory programs. Count and reconcile randomly chosen or selected part numbers and/or locations on a daily basis. Assist in developing solutions to shortages, overages, and inventory discrepancies. Compile, verify, and report periodic statistical information to management regarding trends in inventory levels. Comply with all quality assurance procedures and policies to ensure best quality product output. Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement activities as required. Adhere to established inventory control systems and computer tracking. Be aware of consignment allotting. Strive to reduce all inventory errors. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working area; observe all company rules and regulations including safety, use of personal protective equipment, and quality of work. Demonstrate commitment to safety & continual improvement of OH&S performance, registered standards, company policy, integrity, ethics, and legal compliance. Investigate variances and communicate findings to Manager in a detailed manner. Work overtime as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent education. Experience conducting cycle counts, system audits, reporting, and record keeping. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Outlook. Experience with mobile equipment and material handling in a warehouse setting. Thorough knowledge of plant layout, warehouse mapping, equipment applications, material requirements, and good inventory control practices. Competency when using computers (Oracle and Windows) and various printers. Strong communication and organizational skills. Forklift certification. Competency when using scales, compactors, shrink wrap and strapping machines, computers (both PC and RF) and other hand tools. Work Arrangement Onsite Compensation Pay Range: $20.00 - $20.00 per hour. Bonus Eligible: Discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
