Our facility fosters a culture of support and continuous improvement, allowing your skills and expertise to be fully utilized to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist Physical Therapists in delivering individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient, ensuring compliance with best practices and safety protocols.Administer therapeutic exercises, various modalities, and functional training under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists, enhancing patients' physical capabilities.Monitor and track patients' progress, carefully documenting outcomes to provide comprehensive reports of patient conditions and improvements to supervising Physical Therapists.Educate patients on prescribed exercises and home programs, guiding them through the implementation of these to foster better recovery at home.Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless communication for consistent and comprehensive care.Maintain organized and accurate patient records in accordance with clinic policies and state regulations, keeping up with the latest compliance requirements.Patient Population / Client FocusOur patients range from those recovering from surgery to individuals dealing with chronic pain and mobility issues. As a PTA, you will work with diverse populations, including elderly patients requiring rehabilitation after hip or knee replacements, as well as athletes recovering from sports injuries. This diversity allows you to expand your expertise and enhance your clinical skills significantly.QualificationsCurrent licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in New Jersey is mandatory.A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, demonstrating a solid foundation in physiotherapy principles and practices.A thorough understanding of physical therapy techniques and modalities, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.Proficiency in using healthcare software and tools for documentation and patient management will be an asset.Preferred ExperienceAt least 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant, preferably in an outpatient or hospital setting, showcasing your ability to handle a variety of patient needs.Familiarity with evidence-based practice in physical therapy, contributing to improved patient outcomes.Passionate about patient care with a proven track record in assisting with rehabilitation and promoting mobility.Compensation and BenefitsThe compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $75,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
