Automotive Sales Consultant We are looking for sales professionals to sell cars at our dealership. Sales consultants are expected to demonstrate charisma, communication, and thorough product knowledge. Responsibilities Greet customers on the sales floor and perform a needs analysis including make, type, and features of vehicle desired. Explain features and demonstrate operation of vehicle in showroom or on road. Research availability of models and optional equipment using the computer database. Work with Sales and Finance & Insurance Managers to negotiate sales price, including tax, trade‑in allowance, license fee, discount, and financing or lease payment requirements. Walk the lot and visually inspect inventory. Complete all paperwork and arrange for delivery and registration of the vehicle. Deliver and familiarize the customer with the vehicle. Attend and complete required training and department meetings. Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Qualifications One year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong sales skills, excellent communication, and superior customer service skills. Organizational and thorough follow‑up skills for maintaining contact with clients prior to and after the sale. Ability to speak a second language (preferred). Current valid driver’s license required for all employees.
