Overview
GI/Endoscopy Registered Nurse (Inpatient) in Potsdam, New York. Start date 07/13/2026 for a travel assignment lasting several weeks. Weekly pay range $2,325–$2,414 per week. Guaranteed hours: none. Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for inpatient GI/endoscopy patients, including pre-procedure assessment and post-procedure recovery for colonoscopy and EGD
- Monitor vitals, administer medications per protocol, and ensure sedation safety and patient safety throughout procedures
- Document in EPIC accurately, including procedure details, progress notes, and discharge information
- Collaborate with the GI team, anesthesia, and circulating staff to support procedure throughput and patient flow
- Support unit operations and patient education, including post-procedure instructions and discharge planning

Requirements
- Active New York RN license in-hand (required to submit)
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- EPIC charting experience (hard requirement)
- Inpatient endoscopy experience with colonoscopy and EGD proficiency
- Traveler experience: First-time travelers accepted
- Ability to float to other units as needed
- Compliance notes: distance from the facility matters (candidates must reside >50 miles away; confirm exact distance with the recruiter due to noted restrictions)
