• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months (with potential for extension)
• Pay Rate: $26.00-$27.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Monday-Friday
• Travel Requirements: This is a 100% onsite position with responsibilities split between two locations: Enfield, CT and Shelton, CT. The reporting location may vary throughout the week, and the resource should be flexible to work from either office as directed by the manager.
• Conversion Potential: Contract-to-permanent conversion possible
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

As a Facilities Specialist , you will oversee and coordinate facility operations across multiple sites, serving as a key liaison between clients, vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders. This role requires extensive vendor management and coordination, proactive communication with the client, and close oversight of work orders to ensure services are delivered efficiently, accurately, and on schedule. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, prioritize competing demands, and drive issues through resolution while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for facility operations across multiple sites, partnering with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Manage and coordinate vendor and contractor activities, ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with service expectations and timelines.
• Monitor and drive work orders to completion, proactively identifying and resolving issues while providing regular updates to clients and stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication, operational support, and a high level of customer service.
• Independently prioritize competing tasks, make sound decisions, and follow through on action items in a fast-paced environment.
• Support day-to-day facilities operations by coordinating maintenance activities, addressing site-related concerns, and ensuring a safe and functional workplace across assigned locations.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to take ownership of issues through resolution.

Required Experience

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in facilities management, workplace services, operations, or a related field.

Required Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
