Facilities Specialist

Primary Talent Partners has a 3 month contract opening for a Facilities Specialist to join a national real estate management company for an onsite position operating out of Shelton, CT.


Pay: $25.00/hr - $27.00/hr
Contract: 3 months, extensions likely, conversion possible
Type: W-2, cannot support C2C or provide visa sponsorship, no benefits or PTO, ACA compliant medical package available
Hours : 6am - 2pm M-F
Onsite: This is a 100% onsite position with responsibilities split between two locations: Enfield, CT and Shelton, CT. The reporting location may vary throughout the week, and the resource should be flexible to work from either office as directed by the manager.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for facility operations across multiple sites, partnering with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Manage and coordinate vendor and contractor activities, ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with service expectations and timelines.
• Monitor and drive work orders to completion, proactively identifying and resolving issues while providing regular updates to clients and stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication, operational support, and a high level of customer service.
• Independently prioritize competing tasks, make sound decisions, and follow through on action items in a fast-paced environment.
• Support day-to-day facilities operations by coordinating maintenance activities, addressing site-related concerns, and ensuring a safe and functional workplace across assigned locations.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to take ownership of issues through resolution.

Qualifications:

• College degree preferred though not required; high school diploma required.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in facilities management, workplace services, operations, or a related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
