Senior Accountant

Financial Additions has partnered with a great company in their search for a Senior Accountant. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries for tax true-ups Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations of property tax accounts Assist in the preparation and review of annual property tax budgets Review tax payments and prepare wire transfers and/or check requests Ensure proper coding of payments to the appropriate general ledger accounts Research tax issues, accounts, liens, and assist with onboarding new acquisitions Collaborate with external property tax consultants to ensure compliance and accurate reporting Respond to inquiries from taxing authorities and internal management, providing thorough research and resolution Support special projects and process improvements as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience Public accounting a plus Strong understanding of general accounting principles and journal entries. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
