Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU night shift position at an acute care hospital in Somerset, KY, requiring PALS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications.

Details

• Neuro Critical Care ICU unit at a 295-bed acute care hospital serving an 11-county region in south central Kentucky
• Facility features an advanced neurosurgery program with Spine Center accreditation and a dedicated cardiac care service line
• Night shift schedule: 7p–7a
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week contract
• May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) — all must be obtained prior to start
• 1–2+ years of acute care experience required
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• Candidates must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
