Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position at an acute care facility in Somerset, KY, requiring at least 1-2 years of acute care experience and AHA-issued BLS and NIHSS certifications.

Details

• 13-week travel contract in the ICU of a 295-bed acute care hospital in Somerset, KY
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week with every other weekend required
• Patient ratio is 4:1 on day shift and 5:1 on night shift
• No on-call requirements
• Floating may be required within a 25-mile radius of the facility
• Charting is done in Meditech

Requirements

• Active KY or Compact RN license required
• AHA-issued BLS and NIHSS certifications required prior to start
• Minimum 1-2 years of acute care experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Facility is a state-of-the-art acute care hospital serving an 11-county region in south central Kentucky, with cardiac care and an advanced neurosurgery program including Spine Center accreditation
• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• Candidates must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
