Paralegal II

Paralegal II Location: Irvine, California. The Paralegal II is responsible for providing legal, commercial, and administrative support, acting as a liaison between Legal, EnFin, Axia, and QSS’s business teams. The role may participate in discussions related to demand letters, complaints, claims, and other legal filings concerning residential business. This position reports to the Director of Contracts or a senior management member designated by the General Counsel. Responsibilities Case Management: Check and acknowledge service of processes and send acknowledgment letters promptly. Liaise between business teams and legal to verify facts for demand letters, complaints, and other legal filings against installers and residential business partners. Prepare case analysis, identify issues, omissions, and discrepancies. Prepare and draft demand letters, outline and narrative summaries, and chronologies of installer risk records of events under an attorney’s supervision. Manage and update case spreadsheet/database of legal claims, complaints, and other legal filings related to each business. Support in‑house counsels with overall administrative support, including preparing letters, claims, schedules, invoices, status reports, and supporting documents; interfacing with vendors/service providers and cross‑functional teams to process invoices and expenses; setting up meetings; and other administrative duties and ad‑hoc projects as needed. Review NDAs and other agreements such as PSAs, SOWs, amendments, assignments, and estoppels assigned under direction of the Director of Legal Ops and Contracts and/or an attorney. Contract/version control management – manage and maintain/version‑control TPO contracts and maintain the version control tracker in a timely manner. Backup other team members within Legal Ops as necessary. This position will have two direct reports. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5‑7+ years of experience or equivalent in in‑house legal department or law firm experience. Advanced understanding and knowledge of litigation processes; ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal, written communication, and time management skills. Agile and effective communicator with clear oral and written explanations. Ability to prioritize multiple and simultaneous projects, issues, and deadlines. Proactive and enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment. Confidence and ability to interact with people at all levels of the organization. Dependable and trustworthy. Computer and tech savvy with advanced/expert level in MS Office Suite, G‑Suite, Salesforce, Adobe Pro, AdobeSign/DocuSign, and familiarity with new software such as Agiloft. Preferred Qualifications CA notary public, Remont Online Notary (RON), or willingness to become one. Paralegal certificate from an ABA‑approved program. Compensation Salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of candidates hired nationwide.
