Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Rotating Day/Night
Schedule: 3x12 Hours, 36 Hours/Week
Day Shift: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Night Shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Local Candidates: Accepted
Traveler Candidates: Accepted

Pay Rate:
Local: $55–$60/hr
Traveler: $55–$60/hr

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 12 months of recent Med/Surg Tele RN experience — Required

• Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license — Required

• BLS certification — Required

• ACLS certification — Required

• NIHSS certification — Required

• Strong cardiac/telemetry monitoring experience

• Experience caring for patients with complex medical conditions

• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills

• Comfortable caring for patients who may require ventilator support

• Strong communication and patient-care skills

• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in condition

• Monitor and interpret ECG/telemetry rhythms

• Identify and report significant changes in patient condition

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols

• Monitor vital signs, laboratory results, and other clinical indicators

• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans

• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team

• Care for patients with complex medical and telemetry needs

• Provide care for patients who may require ventilator support

• Educate patients and families regarding treatment and care plans

• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

• Follow facility policies, infection-control practices, and nursing standards

• Float to designated units, including similar medical/surgical units and the ED, as required

• Complete ECG Rhythm Recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation

• Work rotating day/night shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
