Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Inspection in Nashville, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide courteous customer service to residents and visitors. You will report security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and vendor authorization as required, and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
