Pay Package: Up to $2,524/Week

Gross Weekly Pay: $2,524

Taxable Weekly Pay: $1,278

Non-Taxable Weekly Stipend: $1,246 (for eligible travelers)

Travel RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU/CCU) | Nights | Rockford, IL | Up to $2,524/Week

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, Illinois. This opportunity is ideal for nurses with recent CCU/Critical Care experience who are comfortable caring for high-acuity patients in a busy hospital setting.

Schedule

• 13-Week Travel Assignment

• Shift: Nights (12-Hour Shifts)

• 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

• Every Other Weekend Required

• Every Other Holiday Required

• Start Date: ASAP

• Travel Candidates Only

• Permanent address must be more than 50 miles from the facility

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU/CCU.

• Perform ongoing patient assessments and monitor complex medical conditions.

• Administer critical care medications, IV therapies, and vasoactive drips.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms, ventilators, and other life-support equipment.

• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.

• Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies.

• Accurately document patient care according to hospital standards.

• Float to other appropriate units as needed.

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN License.

• Minimum 2 years of recent Critical Care/CCU experience (CCU experience must be clearly documented on the resume).

• Experience working in a mid- to large-size hospital is required.

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.

• Current AHA BLS certification.

• Current AHA ACLS certification.

• Ability to commit to the full 13-week assignment.

• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
